Complementary Somatic Support for Patients, Families and Care Professionals

A foundation-supported approach grounded in nervous system regulation

For nearly 30 years, I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, offering non-medical, complementary somatic support in contexts of illness, chronic stress, trauma, recovery, and sustained emotional load.

This work applies regardless of diagnosis or pathology, because it addresses a fundamental level of human functioning:
the autonomic nervous system, which governs how we respond to danger, recover, and restore balance.

This work does not replace medical care.
It complements it by supporting regulation, resilience, and functional recovery, alongside existing care pathways.

“Not in physical pain, but aware of work-related stress….I learned tools and processes that help me get my job done without it feeling like a taxing job.”

A Simple Orientation

The body functions as one integrated system.
The autonomic nervous system continuously maintains vital functions and evaluates safety. When it perceives danger, it responds through intelligent biological strategies such as mobilization (fight/flight) or immobilization (freeze).

These responses are normal and protective.
When they cannot fully complete — due to illness, trauma, prolonged stress, or medical interventions — tension and shock may remain held in the body, affecting regulation, immune function, and cognitive clarity.

EquilibreNow group sessions are offered to small groups (maximum 4 participants), typical duration 1.5 hours, allowing individual attention within a shared experience.

Through specific, slow, guided somatic movements, participants are supported in:

  • sensing their body more clearly and enhancing focus and cognitive clarity

  • retrieving emotional self-regulation and resilience

  • allowing muscular groups that hold shock to discharge

  • helping the nervous system complete unfinished responses

  • enhancing flexibility and mobility

Because of neuroplasticity, the nervous system has the capacity to reorganize, repair, and build new pathways. Regulation can be experienced, learned, and reinforced through practice.

This is why effects are often immediate and perceptible, and why changes can be sustained over time.

Professional Background

I am a somatic practitioner with nearly three decades of professional experience, grounded in anatomy, neurophysiology, and long-term hands-on clinical practice, and now offered exclusively through small-group, movement-based programs designed for transmission and autonomy.

My work integrates manual clinical foundations, movement-based somatic education, and trauma-informed understanding of nervous system regulation.

EquilibreNow is the synthesis of this progression, developed and refined over nearly 30 years of individual, group, and educational practice.

My work has been developed and practiced in multiple international contexts, including Europe and the United States.

Working With Foundations

I collaborate with foundations that support human beings of any age, background, or life context, as this work addresses fundamental nervous system functioning rather than specific diagnoses.

Foundation-supported programs (for example, a 6-week cycle) are not services of dependency. They are a transmission of practical, embodied tools.

Through these programs, participants:

  • understand why the work is effective

  • experience that it is effective

  • learn practices they can use independently, without ongoing reliance on the practitioner

At the end of a program, participants may choose to:

  • continue practicing on their own

  • form peer groups

  • integrate the tools into daily life or professional environments

Foundations that support this work are offering:

  • accessible, non-medical care without financial burden

  • support for patients, families, and care professionals

  • an ethical, autonomy-based approach

  • something durable that remains after the program ends

Programs can be offered in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Portuguese, allowing accessibility across cultures and environments. All services are delivered in a non-medical, complementary capacity, with clear ethical boundaries and full independence from clinical decision-making.
